The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing who will manage staff and vendors and develop, implement, and evaluate APIC’s marketing strategy. The Senior Director will be responsible for strategy related to association-wide marketing and sales, and for developing a framework for viable implementation across all departments to drive sustainable revenue growth. He/she will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a pricing strategy for all of APIC’s products and services.
This role establishes best practices that align with available resources and strives to bring innovative approaches into action. In addition to providing marketing leadership, the Senior Director is responsible for the implementation of marketing strategies, obtaining and utilizing research on members and audiences, aligning projects with the strategic brand, and adhering to the APIC staff core values of Ownership, Unity, and Commitment.

Qualified candidates will offer a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area plus a minimum of seven years of marketing experience in a healthcare association environment; master’s degree preferred. APIC is seeking candidates with experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns, including digital, social media, print, video, and other channels; experience in budget development, financial analysis, and budget management; and experience in both short-term and long-term strategic marketing planning.
