Our Chief Member Services Officeris the top-level member services role in our organization. The position is responsible for the overall ASQ member experience and value proposition with the goal of significantly enhancing member satisfaction and revenue. The Chief Member Services Officer is the leader of three critical workgroups: Membership and Component Relations; Strategic Partnerships and Events; and Knowledge and Publications. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where they are a “player-coach” with the ability to spearhead strategic membership initiatives, and the broad expertise to put the strategy in play. This is an opportunity to lead and develop a customer focused membership and components team and collaborate across business functions to deliver value for our 60,000 individual members. Oversight scope includes ASQ’s annual World Conference on Quality and Improvement and the flagship Quality Progress publication. You will join a talented and cohesive Executive Leadership Team and help take the world’s foremost name in Quality to new levels of member value.
ASQ is conveniently situated in downtown Milwaukee, in the ASQ Center, immediately adjacent to major freeway exits, The Avenue MKE, and RiverWalk. Our location provides our employees easy indoor and outdoor access to shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. Our office space is in a historic building incorporating a contemporary workspace and includes newly designed workstations, sit/stand desks, and community and collaboration space.

Bring Your Best
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
15+ years of progressive association management experience with a focus on membership and related offerings
5+ years of people management; C-Level experience and CAE Certification strongly preferred
Proven success in membership growth and retention strategy
Experience in content and publication strategy preferred, including “body of knowledge” optimization, content curation and digital transformation
Budget management and strong business acumen
Strong communications skills and the ability to foster employee engagement
