The membership team has a mission of growth. Not only are we focused on growing the membership levels of each client we serve, but we are also driving the growth of Veritas. The role of each team member is to ensure that members of every association managed by Veritas receive the full benefit of helpful, informative, and courteous service. Every member should benefit in the fullest from their association or society. The membership representative ensures that members are aware of additional features and benefits of membership and that they stay current with their membership dues and additional committee meeting duties. They will be confident in promoting the benefits of membership to existing and prospective members and work cooperatively with other departments to stay informed and up to date with the goals of each association or society to which they are assigned. The membership representative will report on current data and trends for their assigned clients.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and written questions, concerns, and complaints regarding membership.
Providing information on membership fees, policies, processes, benefits, products, and services.
Actively listening to members and identifying member needs.
Investigating and resolving or escalating membership and payment issues.
Assessing member eligibility and processing payments, applications, and requests.
Documenting all inquiries and maintaining accurate membership records.
Assisting in the development and execution of the membership outreach strategy.
Working cooperatively with other departments to facilitate necessary duties and tasks for assigned clients.
Onsite Travel to various meetings and conferences
Assist in meeting registrations for their respective clients
Answering phone calls and written questions, concerns regarding virtual and in person meeting attendance
Provide Virtual conference support as needed.
Duties:
Collect member dues payments.
Pull reports directly from the database as needed.
Work directly with the assigned membership committees to process any applications and requests.
Assist with resolving inquiries, concerns, requests, and complaints from members and potential members via phone or email.
Attend team and company meetings as directed.
Onsite travel as needed.
Virtual conference support as needed.
Qualifications
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Sales or Customer Service experience is a plus
MemberClicks and/or Your Membership experience is a plus
