The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) is searching for a Membership & Post Graduate Affairs Manager to add to their team. Visit our website at www.acfas.org for more information about who we are and the medical community that we serve.

Overview

•  Engage medical students, residents and post graduate fellows in our member focused medical association.
• Manage recruitment, retention, and onboarding for all Student, Resident, and Post Graduate Fellow Members.
• Participate in committee activities to represent the association and impact future offerings to existing and prospective members.
• Serve as liaison and point-of-contact for student club presidents at podiatric medical schools and manage the College’s relationship student clubs.
• Coordinate conference calls, training materials, and stocking/shipping of merchandise for student events. Participate in newsletter compilation and production.
• Maintain the College’s annual Fellowship Recognition Initiative including invoicing, tracking of deadlines for each program as well as recognition and exit process for outgoing fellows.
• Participate in and serve as early-career member subject matter expert for assigned committees and task forces.
• Attend the College’s Annual Scientific Conference and assist with workshop planning, booth design and staffing and career center presence.

About You!

• 3+ years of association (or related) experience
• Experience working with membership or in a customer service capacity
• Bachelor’s degree required; CAE is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focused “How can I help you?” mindset
• Willing to be part of a collaborative team and wear many hats
• Flexibility to attend evening virtual meetings on an “as needed basis”
• Ability to travel to one 5-7 day annual scientific conference.
