The AAVSB is in search of a Full-Time Membership Manager for Veterinary Care Elite program. The Membership Manager for Veterinary Care Elite is directly responsible for developing and implementing membership and renewal processes for a new voluntary membership program. This role will be responsible for identifying the need for additional services and approaches to further develop and expand the program. Additionally, this role will manage the membership database, oversee the customer service process to ensure members are satisfied.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day activities include: Developing and implementing membership and renewal processes for Veterinary Care Elite members while identifying the need for additional services and approaches to further develop and expand the program.
The qualified candidate should possess strong membership strategy acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, maturity, good judgment, and extraordinary collaboration techniques.
WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU WILL:
Understand the mission, values, and strategic objectives of the AAVSB and desired outcomes.
Understand Veterinary Care Elite staff duties and successfully interact with both Veterinary Care Elite staff, and the AAVSB Management team including department meeting facilitation.
Establish relationships with other staff managers, product owners, and senior management.
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU WILL:
Establish relationships with Veterinary Care Elite members to understand who they are and their most significant pain points.
Develop and implement membership and renewal processes for the Veterinary Care Elite program.
Establish working relationships with external vendors for the continued development of the program.
WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU WILL:
Provide a mid-year report card on Veterinary Care Elite strategies and activities.
Create and implement a plan for membership surveys and data analysis.
Create a plan for expanding membership in the Veterinary Care Elite program to include veterinarians
WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU WILL:
Implement the process for including veterinarians in Veterinary Care Elite membership.
Prepare budget requests and outline essential expenses for inclusion in the 2023 budget.
Propose innovative solutions using independent judgment and strategic thinking.
Complete projects requiring collaboration with internal and external customers which reached desired expansion and growth outcomes.

Education and Experience:
Required: Accredited Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of demonstrable professional experience in association membership activities, including project, program, and people management.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of demonstrable professional experience in association membership activities, including project, program, and people management. Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification. Project Management Professional (PMP)
Occasional travel and weekend work might be necessary to fulfill the position’s responsibilities
Details:
The Veterinary Care Elite Manager is a full-time and exempt position. Work is performed under the direction of the Director of License Mobility.
Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000
The AAVSB is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. This position may be virtual/remote with the understanding that there will be required company-paid travel to Kansas City, Missouri, and other locations throughout the year.
