Serves as the receptionist (greets visitors, answers the phone, opens/distributes mail and coordinates shipping).
Responds to incoming e-mails in a timely manner using good judgment and grammar in all written interactions.
Provides administrative support to the membership team in processing member transactions, dues payment, meeting registrations, mitigating duplicate records, etc.
Provides administrative support to the meetings and exhibits manager in processing exhibit booth and advertising contracts, data entry, corporate registrations, etc.
Serves as main point of contact at the registration desk at meetings
Manages hotel reservations, meeting registrations and RSVPs for the Board of Directors
Works with the VP, Education to maintain files for ACCME program, including procurement of financial disclosures and other documentation.
Assists in responding to inquiries related to the abstract submission process and requests for CME certificates and FASRS documentation.
Provides support for the History of Retina project
Assists with uploading content in ASRS’s Multi-Media Library.
Assist with the preparation of conferences and board meetings, including assembly of e-books
Creates reports, e-mail templates, and mail merges, as needed. Coordinates mass mailings.
Updates mailing addresses in the database (returned magazines and other correspondence).
Handles ordering office supplies and maintenance of equipment, including interaction with vendors for tech support.
