The Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (www.awci.org), one of the oldest construction trade associations in the nation, is seeking an Education Program Manager to join our team. This position will play an essential role with education and certificate programs for online learning and live events, webinar production, speaker management and work with the association’s Foundation programs.
Experience in a nonprofit (501(c)(6) and/or 501(c)(3)) environment is preferred, as well a background with education/learning programs. The position reports to the Director of Education and Member Services. The position is located in Falls Church, Virginia. No relocation expenses provided.
Scope of Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of on-demand Doing It Right® education programs and EIFS certificate program.
Oversee AWCI’s learning management system (BlueSky).
Develop, manage and track metrics to measure participants engagement.
Ability to work fluidly within association management system (Salesforce).
Update education content and promotional banners on AWCI website.
Work with marketing manager/contractor and manager of graphics and art to create promotional materials (e.g. videos, eblasts, social media posts, etc.).
Coordinate all aspects of AWCI webinar program.
Manage speakers for various AWCI programs/events.
Assist with Foundation of the Wall and Ceiling Industry activities as needed.
Duties
Review applications from new registrants for EIFS Doing it Right and those recertifying to ensure they meet the pre-qualifications for the chosen category of certification.
Assist members with the purchase of education courses through the Salesforce-based member management system.
Provide technology support to on-demand course registrants.
Oversee the EIFSmart Contractor program by processing applications for the designation for qualified companies and facilitate the renewal process.
Update the National Registry for EIFSmart and the Project Manager program.
Lead the production of webinars in the GoToWebinar platform, as well as coordinate the overall flow of the presentation.
Manage call for presentations and speaker management process for the AWCI Convention, AWCI Industry Leaders Conference and webinars.
Work collaboratively with the marketing manager/contractor on the development and distribution of promotional materials for education programs.
Create dashboards, reports and summarize data related to AWCI’s education programs.
Provide support to the executive director of the Foundation of the Wall and Ceiling Industry as needed.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
3-5 years of education experience preferred, especially with nonprofit organizations.
Must be customer service focused, detail oriented and demonstrate strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing are essential.
Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
Intermediate level knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Salesforce, BlueSky and GoToWebinar a plus.
