The National Association of Home Builders is seeking a Director, Exposition Operations who will be responsible for directing and managing the overall day-to-day operating activities of the Exposition Sales Area with respect to the International Builders’ Show (IBS) to maintain the level of accuracy and quality of customer service necessary to service our exhibitors and vendors/contractors that work on the IBS.

Qualified candidates will:

• Have extensive knowledge of tradeshow production, and development.
• Extensive knowledge of technology, operations, and customer service.
• Able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Be a self-starter and be able to independently develop solutions to different situations that arise.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure while being mindful of changing priorities.
• Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business spectrum both verbally and in writing.

Candidates should have   years’ experience in trade show operations, project management, marketing and sales management, including experience with large and small trade shows.  Must have proven hands-on management experience.  Excellent interpersonal skills.  Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.  Proven track record of performance and results.  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related fields, or equivalent combination of extensive and related work experience.
