Reporting to the Sr. Director, Financial Analysis, the Senior Manager will be responsible for financial analysis, accounting, and reporting.
This role will assist in building a new Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting system which will incorporate KPIs from across the organization in dashboards. In addition, the Senior Manager will assist with financial analysis, including analysis of corporate partner contracts, chapter financial health and other analyses as assigned.
Assist with accounting close each month. Close duties may involve recording investment activity, ACHs, IT project amortization and contract revenue. Close duties should not exceed two days per month.
Assist in developing and implementing a new KPI reporting structure.
Assist in the creation of dashboards to report KPIs to senior management.
Become the group primary point of contact on reporting aspects of the CRM database (Salesforce) including writing queries and understanding the nuances of the CRM.
Assist with monthly close and audit schedules.
Provide financial analysis as needed.
Ensure cash and treasury management analysis and reports are developed for managing AIA’s complex entities and financial facilities.
Prepare fund reports for leadership monthly.
Assist with insurance applications on an annual basis.

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in accounting and financial analysis is required. Auditing experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of databases, their structures and reporting. Salesforce experience is preferred
Strong skills in written and oral communication and active listening. Demonstrated ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them effectively to senior management. Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of automated accounting systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central) and various Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Excel skills should include advanced skills including V lookups and pivot tables.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business and minimum four years of responsible accounting financial analysis experience. Experience in 501(c)(6) and 501(c)(3) organizations is helpful.
