Summary of Position Responsibility The Director of Grants plays a key role in developing and implementing foundation funding strategies for the organization including prospect and opportunity identification, cultivation, and solicitation of private foundation, and serve as the liaison for State and Federal grants. This person creates and implements tailored prospect and donor engagement plans for their portfolio of prospects and grantors.  The successful candidate will have a combination of skills with a history of successful grant writing focused on healthcare operations.  The role includes detailed management of grant writing, reporting and stewardship.  This Director will strategize with HAP Foundation staff and board members to increase philanthropic support
