The Meetings Manager will plan, prepare, and execute live educational conferences and online distance learning events by working with planning committees, speakers, attendees, hotel and convention center staff, event service providers, audio-visual providers, exhibitors, sponsors, and similar. Typical meetings will range from 400 to 900 registrants and run 2 to 3 days each. The Meetings Manager will be directly responsible for at least 3 educational meetings, will assist other meetings managers, will plan committee meetings, and will coordinate continuing education compliance. The Meetings Manager will be responsible for establishing and working within meeting budgets, tracking metrics, and reporting status and results.
