The APC is a multi-faith association established to promote quality care through advocacy, education, professional standards and service to its members. The APC’s affiliate, the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc., offers chaplains the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to excellence through certification.
The Administrative Coordinator helps chaplains seeking information and resources from the APC on certification (initial and specialty), education and membership. This position reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the administrative functions in the APC office including answering phones, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages, greet visitors and answers questions as needed, and other office functions as assigned.
Assist in the BCCI certification process by providing information to members and non-members.
Provide customer services to internal and external audiences.
Ensure accurate dissemination of information and materials.
Assist all team members as needed.
Assist with staffing at APC conference (registration).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, some college a plus but not required.
High competency in the ability to use MS Office Suite applications.
1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or customer service role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service and organization skills.
Familiarity with non-for-profit, a plus.
