The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) aims to develop and implement programs that support injury prevention and ensure optimal patient outcomes across the continuum of care. This role falls within the Trauma Quality Programs. These programs set the standards for optimal care of the injured patient, send auditors to ensure that hospitals are meeting those standards, provide hospitals with data reports on patient outcomes, and tools to improve clinical care.
Summary: The Mobile App Administrator is responsible for all aspects of program management and maintenance for Trauma Education's mobile application(s) (e.g., MyATLS). This position will partner with a third-party vendor in the design and development of this product. They will engage with customers to understand needs and gather feedback to inform future design and development opportunities. The Administrator will work with subject matter experts on high quality and timely content creation for future releases. They will work with internal staff on ongoing marketing efforts.
This exempt position will report to the Manager, Instructional Design in the Trauma Department in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Program management: Develops, maintains, and demonstrates a deep understanding of the MyATLS product, stakeholders, and end users. Collaborates closely with vendor/partner to collect, document and communicate product requirements. Participates actively in all design and development planning sessions, user acceptance testing, and product demos. Oversees a frequent cadence of content updates and improvements that align with business goals. Manages and communicates new releases with internal and external stakeholders. Maintains the Content Management System for the mobile app.
Customer engagement: Develops and participates in customer engagement activities to gather feedback. Communicates product roadmap to customers. Offers expert product support to customers and trains colleagues on new features so they can support customers as well.
Committee support: Serves as staff liaison to the Committee on Trauma Education Technology work group, which participates in content creation for the MyATLS mobile application. Schedules calls, takes notes, and facilitates working sessions. Manages timeline for content development and ensures work group stays on task.

Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Marketing, Education, or Program Management role is required.
Experience managing programs or projects is required.
Marketing Research, General Marketing, or Communications experience is strongly preferred.
Critical thinking, analytical, and strong organizational skills.
