The nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare seeks an Archivist to preserve the history of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), pediatric care, and child health through oversight and maintenance of the Gartner Pediatric History Center (GPHC) collections. These collections include the corporate archive of the AAP, such as physical and digital records, pediatric artifacts, historic monographs, the oral history collection, and limited personal papers and manuscripts of leading pioneers in the field of pediatrics and child health.
