FUNCTION: Under the direction of the President, President Elect, Board of Directors and the Executive Director, the Learning Initiatives and Foundation Coordinator is responsible for the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association’s programming for Continuing Education events, LEAP events, and other assigned events, as well as content for the website and handling GVMA Foundation activities. POSITION VALUE TO THE ORGANIZATION: Handles LEAP and all non-conference CE programs (live or virtual) from start to finish. Supervises independent contractor on speaker recruitment/contracting and program grid development. Serves as the primary staff person for all GVMA Foundation activities.
