AO NA has established salary ranges for all positions. The position will be paid between $110,000 - $120,000 annually depending on experience. This is above the minimum and up to the mid-point of the range.

Marketing, Engagement, & Communications Director – AO North America, Inc.
Are you seeking a new and exciting challenge as a leader in marketing? AO North America, Inc. (AO NA), a continuing medical education nonprofit, is searching for a Marketing, Engagement & Communications Director. In this position you will be our primary brand champion, leading our marketing and communications strategies to support our goals for increased member acquisition, retention, participation, and engagement. You will increase our visibility as a trusted source of medical education, promote the value and importance of AO NA membership and education programs, and position us for participation and engagement growth.
Do you have an interest in:
increasing brand awareness and engagement?
Conducting research?
Developing communications campaigns?
Working with the AO Foundation, marketing vendors, volunteers, direct reports & staff?
Overseeing the annual report?
Directing our digital footprint?
Serving as brand champion?
Supervising, leading, and mentoring a team?
Driving member participating and engagement?
Developing the processes to analyze member data?
Developing marketing plans for each of our clinical divisions?
What do we need?
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in marketing in a leadership role.
Experience leading a high-performing team.
Adept at using data analytics and audience insights to inform decision-making.
Volunteer-management experience.
Experience in continuing medical education (CME) is a plus!
Are we remote or what?
AO NA operates in a results-only- work-environment and allows for a distributed workforce. While mostly remote, we do believe that collaborating in person from time to time is very important so there is opportunity to travel to the main office. We are in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA so ideally, we would like someone who is in the East Coast time zone.
