Position: Executive Assistant

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Come join the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), an organization representing the nation’s nearly one million workers in the plastics industry. They are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President & CEO. This position works remotely Mondays and Fridays and is in the office Tuesday through Thursday.

As the Executive Assistant, you will enhance organizational and departmental excellence by creating, implementing, and sustaining systems that support the President & CEO in accomplishing the mission, goals, and objectives of PLASTICS. You will ensure prompt and effective communication with board members, PLASTICS’ members and staff, and internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the President & CEO. You will also serve as the point of contact to PLASTICS’ Board of Directors for all logistics, preparation, and execution of board meetings and communications. You will provide high-level administrative support to the President & CEO along with planning, organizing, managing, and executing high-level meetings. This position reports to the President & CEO.
Qualified candidates offer:
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education & related experience
7 years of experience in an executive office/senior management position supporting the C-suite
Trade association experience
Experience planning high-level meetings and booking travel arrangements
In-depth understanding of C-suite structure & organization
Experience with accounting software and association & event management databases
