ACHL seeks an energetic, hands-on individual to support event and logistics planning as part of overall program development in a fast-paced environment. This position offers excellent exposure to all aspects of the business, from covering the smallest details to big-picture planning. The successful candidate will work directly with implementation team members across departments to ensure project deliverables fall within quality, scope, and budget parameters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to develop and execute virtual and in-person events
Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful event outcomes, including managing communication and expectations.
Oversee event budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring events stay within budget.
Coordinate with appropriate teams on the creation of all event-related content and communications including, but not limited to, marketing emails, web content, creative assets, onsite signage, and syllabi.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, faculty, and educational partners
Preparation and shipment of program materials and support on-site meeting coordination
Continuously assess ways to best approach tasks and locate more efficient ways in which to complete tasks
Understand and adhere to CME/CE guidelines and ensure they are communicated, understood and followed
Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, disease states, and medical education

Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalency
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in event planning.
