Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a prestigious Park Ridge-based international association, seeks a Program Coordinator for our Professional Development department. The Program Coordinator supports the program development process for assigned MDRT global meetings and serves as a liaison between volunteer committees and staff departments.
Primary responsibilities include: serving as staff liaison to assigned MDRT Program Development Committee (PDC), leading the program development and speaker management for Focus Sessions at assigned MDRT meetings and supporting other special projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Minimum of two (2) years of experience in volunteer management, professional development, meeting planning or program development.
· Proficiency with computer programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Willingness to embrace, learn and use technology for collaboration, such as SharePoint
· An ability to demonstrate project management, with a proven ability to simultaneously manage several complex projects
· Be highly organized, pay attention to details and provide good follow-up
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; easily build relationships with staff and committee members
·Strong customer service skills
·Ability to travel (domestic and international) as assigned (up to 10%)
