Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range. The FLSA classification for this position is Exempt (Salaried).
POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Manager Chapter Communities, the individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage and empower leaders and members to actively participate in and drive the mission of ASSP with a focus on fostering the organizational impact of our chapter communities, ensuring they deliver meaningful value to our members. This includes providing coaching, tools, training, leadership development, and operational oversight and support to chapter and region leaders to help effectively provide value to members in alignment with ASSP’s strategic goals and direction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversees the operations and performance of chapter, section and student section communities to drive member engagement through these communities
Provides the training, communications, services and measurements to ensure chapters, sections, and student sections are provide value to members and the Society
Designs and delivers chapter, section and region leader training, resources and tools, including online materials, on-demand modules, webinars and Leadership Conference events activities
Develops lasting relationships chapter and regional leaders with an emphasis on open and transparent communication to influence the engagement of chapter, section and student section leaders
Administers and monitors submissions of required chapter reports, ensuring a smooth and communicative process for all stakeholders
Supports the Council on Region Affairs and coordinates the flow of information between chapters, the governing council, and the Society
Works with the Membership & Communities management team to create metrics and benchmarks for tracking and enhancing member engagement through communities and manages chapter and community management tools
Manages and effectively drives toward resolution day-to-day chapter operational issues and roadblocks
Identifies the need for new or sunset chapters, sections and student sections and oversees the exploration, impact, and execution of opening/sunsetting member communities
