The Texas Dental Association is the third largest state dental association in the U.S. TDA currently has 8,500 member dentists and 26 local component societies. The TDA is part of a tripartite affiliation with the American Dental Association as its national representative and its component societies at the local level. As TDA’s chief executive officer, the Executive Director manages the affairs and operations of the association and its’ eight affiliated organizations, that include charitable non-profits, for-profit entities, and political action committees. TDA has an annual operating budget of approximately $5MM with a total of 25 FTEs as well as independent contractors and outsourced service providers.
