Purpose: The Technical Publications Editor is responsible for proofreading and fact-checking articles for the International Journal of Metalcasting.  Editing technical books, papers, articles, and related materials published by the American Foundry Society (AFS), either independently or in collaboration with volunteer committees. This role ensures content meets AFS’s editorial standards and supports the Society’s mission and strategic goals. The editor works closely with authors, project liaisons, and internal teams to deliver high-quality publications for sale or distribution to members and the public.
