Position Overview
The Membership Success Manager is responsible for managing relationships with executive members and their companies to ensure they realize consistent value from WashingtonExec’s councils, events, networking, and media offerings. This role serves as the primary post-sale point of contact for assigned members, with a focus on engagement, experience, and renewals.
Key Responsibilities
Member Experience and Engagement
Manage a portfolio of member organizations and executive seats
Lead onboarding for new members, setting clear engagement goals and expectations
Develop tailored engagement plans aligned to member priorities and interests
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for member executives and their teams
Relationship Management and Renewals
Monitor member participation and engagement and address gaps proactively
Conduct periodic check-ins to review value, outcomes, and upcoming opportunities
Support renewal conversations and identify opportunities to strengthen long-term relationships
Programming and Coordination
Coordinate member participation across councils, events, and media opportunities
Provide member feedback to internal teams to inform programming and content
Attend and support biweekly in-person events in the evenings
Data and Collaboration
Maintain accurate member records and engagement notes in CRM systems
Track engagement indicators and report on member activity as needed
Work closely with sales, events, editorial, and marketing teams to ensure a consistent member experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in customer success, account management, membership services, or client relations
Comfortable engaging senior executives in professional, relationship-driven settings
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple member relationships
Familiarity with the government contracting or professional services ecosystem is a plus
Able to work in person during core daytime hours and attend evening events biweekly
