What we're looking for: We are seeking a talented professional editor responsible for working in concert with the journal’s team of academic Deputy Editors to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed science in the Journal under the direction of the Editor. What you'll do: Collaborate with the academic Deputy Editors to determine the selection, revision, and rejection of proffered manuscripts, with final approval by the Editor. Make well-reasoned editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts in the light of expert advice and clearly and professionally communicate these decisions and their rationale verbally and in writing. Discuss manuscripts and reviewer comments with the editorial board during weekly meetings
