Summary: Develops and implements a quality assurance process to ensure consistent interpretation and application of cancer accreditation standards and site visit processes. Develops and implements plans for recruitment of new accredited programs and retention of currently-accredited sites. Manages a team of accreditation specialists, which includes holding regular meetings with direct reports, assisting with goal setting, and assisting with career development.
This exempt position will report to the Senior Manager, Cancer Accreditation in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.
Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar or related role is required, including staff management experience.
Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
Accreditation experience and quality assurance and/or recruitment or retention experience is preferred.
