APCO International is looking for a motivated individual who will help us expand our footprint in the public safety community while continuing to provide excellent customer service to current exhibitors, advertisers, and sponsors. The Sponsorship Coordinator will be responsible for managing sponsorship fulfillment as outlined in sponsor and corporate partner contracts. Cultivate existing partnerships and support all sponsors through a variety of functions. APCO hosts 3 to 4 annual events, with the annual conference & expo being the largest. The Sponsorship Coordinator will work closely with and report to the Director of Events. This position is an in-office position located in Daytona Beach, Florida.
General Description of Essential Job Tasks:
The following are general descriptions of the essential job tasks of the position. Other related tasks may be assigned as necessary and appropriate.
Oversees deliverables for all sponsors and corporate partners. Monitors and tracks deliverables, follows-up on outstanding items, seeks sponsor approval and works with appropriate vendors to finalize.
Coordinates speaker logistics for the Presentation Theater and Career Advancement Center including communication and presentation management.
Manages and executes show management areas of exhibit hall: Resume Review, Headshot Lounge, Network & Recharge area, Blood Drive, K-9 Demonstrations, etc.
Assists with the creation of sponsor surveys and compiles requested information to include in post-event reports.
Obtains pricing on sponsored promotional items such as attendee bags, notebooks, etc.
Oversees sponsor meeting rooms process and onsite implementation.
Acts as department contact for all customer service issues pertaining to sponsorship, advertisers, and corporate partners.
Works closely with staff and vendors on various projects as assigned.
Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
Responsible for ensuring sponsors receive all items included in their contracts.
Requests and maintains all sponsor logos, web URL’s, graphics, etc. for signage, communications, and onsite implementation.
Communicates sponsor logistics and deadlines for all events to sponsors, tracks deliverables, and follows up on outstanding items.
Audits reports for non-payment or missing information pertaining to sponsors, advertisers, and corporate partners.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Competent in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to travel by vehicle or air as required.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Baccalaureate degree in a related field. CMP or CEM certification preferred
Minimum 3 years work related experience
Previous work in an association environment preferred
Solid understanding of tradeshows and/or sponsorship programs
Experience with Salesforce, Cadmium and Asana preferred
