As Project Manager, you will serve our client partner, The International Coaching Federation (ICF). ICF is the largest resource for business and personal coaches, representing more than 50,000 members and 50,000 credential holders. ICF supports and preserves the integrity of coaching through standards supported by the individual membership. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting all operations of the Project Management Office (PMO) and will work collaboratively across all ICF’s family organizations and departments to execute projects and manage complex technology projects from initiation to successful completion within the ICF platform. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for the procurement, review, and negotiation of contracts, while maintaining the highest quality standards in accordance with the ICF Project Management Office Handbook. The Project Manager will report to the Director of the Project Management Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Lead project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
Liaise with the ICF team to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
Make sure that ICF team needs are met as projects evolve
Analyze risks and opportunities
Lead project procurement management
Monitor project progress, communicate, and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
Work with the stakeholders to eliminate blockers
Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures
Manage to issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of the agreement)
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Undergraduate degree and a minimum of two years of Proven work experience as a Project manager or similar role to set priorities, take initiative, and manage multiple projects on time
Experience in project management methodologies from conception to delivery, including project initialization and planning, project execution, quality assurance and testing, stakeholder communication, resource management, change management and leadership
Excellent organizational skills with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize work
An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
Committed to continuous improvement and development
Strong ability to work individually on a project and collaboratively in a team environment to manage broad and diverse cross-constituent working groups
Being a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, managing vendors, and teamwork skills to deliver results
Strong attention to managing data and analyzing trends to prepare action plans. Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Kanban board, Backlog)
