The Senior Education Manager will design, development, and execute high-quality innovative educational learning experiences in a variety of learning environments for the leading not-for-profit in the field of correctional health care.
Our office offers hybrid work: 3 days per week expected in the office (Lincoln Park) / 2 from home
Responsibilities
Monitor and use best practices to strengthen NCCHC’s educational offerings
Ensure ongoing compliance with all accreditation requirements and guidelines for ACCME, ANCC, APA and NASW
Develop and manage online educational offerings, including webinars, web-based courses, and e-learning
Manage the Call for Proposal process
Regularly evaluate and recommend new and/or enhancements to existing educational programs, instructional formats, and learning environments (e.g., in-person events, webinars, online courses, certification curriculum). Provide quarterly and year-end analytics on the status of NCCHC educational offerings
Works closely with the VP, Professional Services and Director of Meetings to develop strategies for promoting educational offerings
Identify educational gaps by conducting relevant needs assessments and evaluation activities
Serve as the main point of contact for speakers and determine the appropriate content, topics, and speaker line-up
Collect and organize the educational content for preliminary and final programs
Manage the speaker database, speaker agreements, session, and program evaluations
Works with Director of Meetings to perform on-site responsibilities at live national conferences
Serve as a staff liaison to the Education Committees
Write grants to fund educational opportunities at conferences and online learning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; health care background a plus.
Five years of experience developing and implementing education programs in an association environment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Experience with medical education and related CE requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with committees, instructors, business partners and staff
Well-organized and self-directed, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
