Job Title: Member Support Coordinator (Part-Time)

Organization: CALSAGA

Location: Hybrid (Remote with travel to 3-4 events per year); Must reside in California

Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours per week)

Position Summary

CALSAGA (California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards, and Associates) is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Part-Time Member Support Coordinator to support our members and internal team. This role is ideal for someone with trade association experience who excels in member engagement, administrative coordination, and clear communication. Experience with Cvent is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for member and potential member inquiries via email and phone, providing timely and professional support
• Support event logistics, registration, and communications, particularly using Cvent
• Maintain and update member records and database to ensure accuracy
• Draft and edit member-facing communications, including social media posts and event materials
• Assist with other administrative and member support tasks as needed
• On-site support of 3-4 member events per year, 2-4 days each event

Required Qualifications

• California resident
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time role
• Professional, responsive, and member-service-oriented approach

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working for a trade or professional association
• Experience using Cvent (event registration, communications, reporting)
• Familiarity with membership databases or CRM systems
• Experience supporting events, webinars, or conferences
