 The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA), a trade association based in Alexandria, VA, is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy  Membership and Education Coordinator  to join our team full-time. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital support role in a dynamic, member-focused organization.&#xa0; ILMA has a hybrid work environment, with staff required to report to the office a minimum of 3 days per week.&#xa0; 
 Key Responsibilities: 
 
 Manage the annual membership renewal process and maintain member records using our association database (iMIS). 
 Coordinate meeting registration for all ILMA events&#8212;both online and on-site at conferences. 
 Administer ILMA&#8217;s online learning management system (Teachable), including assisting members with class navigation and updating course content. 
 Support the planning and execution of ILMA conferences and events. 
 Provide general administrative support to the ILMA team as needed.

 &#xa0; POSITION SUMMARY 
 The Program Manager plays a vital role in facilitating the Society of American Military Engineers&#8217; (SAME) Technical Communities of Interest (COIs). These COIs function both as communities of practice where professionals with shared expertise exchange ideas and as solution-driven hubs that provide technical insight and collaborative environments to address challenges ranging from local issues to those elevated to the national Executive Advisory Group. 
 In this position, the Program Manager will support, coordinate, and integrate the efforts of these programs, with primary responsibility for the Technical COIs. Additionally, SAME manages numerous national programs and Industry-Government Engagement (IGE) projects, all of which the Program Manager will oversee and support in alignment with assigned COIs. 
 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
 Manage and support the following COI&#8217;s and their Chairs:
 
 Architectural Practice 
 Construction 
 Energy Security 
 Environmental 
 Facility Asset Management 
 
 
 Champion assigned COIs, serving as the National Staff connection with these member driven groups. 
 Provide programmatic support to COI-related meetings, webinars, and training. 
 Deploy a cohesive strategy fostering industry and government engagement for the relevant communities of interest. 
 Manage industry?government engagement initiatives by identifying key IGE issues and trends and coordinating effective responses. 
 Collaborate and integrate with numerous external stakeholders (military services/government agencies, strategic partners, societies, and Associations) to integrate their contributions effectively. 
 Oversee financial management for assigned national programs, including budgeting, expenditure tracking, and reimbursement processing for budgets up to $250,000. 
 Connect the work of the Programs Department to the work of the SAME Posts by coordinating with related post POCs. 
 Support the creation and refinement of content generated by Technical COIs and IGE projects for SAME conferences and events. 
 Serve as the liaison between SAME&#8217;s Technical programs and the Department of War and other governmental agencies. 
 Support and advise the Director of Strategic Initiatives on matters requiring escalation to the Executive Director, National Leadership Assembly, or Board of Direction. 
 Serve as part of our on-site team for other SAME National events. 
 Represent the Society at Post and external events (as required). 
 Other duties as assigned in support of SAME&#8217;s priorities and operations. 
 EDUCATION: 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree. 
 May substitute 5 years&#8217; experience for educational requirements. 
 Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate preferred. 
 
 EXPERIENCE: 
 
 Minimum of 5 years of diverse project and program management experience. 
 Experience working with and managing volunteers. 
 Program development and implementation. 
 Experience with professional associations a plus. 
 
 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &#38; ABILITIES: 
 
 Experience and demonstrated ability in leading and developing high-functioning teams. 
 Program development and implementation. 
 Knowledge of technical concepts that are core to the COIs.
 
 Experience working with AEC private sector firms or uniformed military engineering organizations (USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC, others) preferred but not required. 
 
 
 Experience with professional associations a plus. 
 Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire trust, motivation, and confidence in internal and external stakeholders. 
 Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills. 
 Ability to work in a team environment, be a self-starter, demonstrate initiative, and think creatively. 
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, Co Pilot, and PowerPoint) 
 Possess a positive attitude with ability and willingness to provide excellent customer service to internal and external members. 
 Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, under varying deadlines, adjust as needed, and meet deadlines.

 The Manager also of the Learning Management System (LMS), establishing standards and workflows for the creation of learning activities within the LMS. They partner closely with internal teams, faculty, vendors, and volunteers to translate educational needs into high-quality online experiences, ensuring a consistent, professional user experience across all interactions involving the society&#8217;s LMS. 
 Key Responsibilities 
 Live and Digital Education Program Management 
 
 Lead the planning, development, and execution of AASLD&#8217;s live education offerings other than The Liver Meeting and Digestive Disease Week, including Emerging Topic Conferences and other in-person courses 
 Lead the planning, development, and execution of AASLD&#8217;s digital education products, including on-demand courses, blended learning, webinars, and other e-learning offerings. 
 Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to ensure high-quality, outcomes-driven live and digital education. 
 Collaborate with faculty, committees, and subject matter experts to translate content into effective live and digital learning experiences. 
 Establish and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for digital education initiatives. 
 Partner with education leadership to align live and online education products with overall education strategy, learner needs, and organizational priorities. 
 Identify opportunities to scale and optimize digital education offerings in response to program growth and evolving learner expectations. 
 Partner with education leadership and accreditation staff to ensure digital education activities meet applicable accreditation requirements and standards. 
 
 Instructional Design &#38; Course Development 
 
 Serve as the primary instructional design resource for digital education initiatives, guiding course structure, learning objectives, assessments, and engagement strategies. 
 Develop and maintain standards, templates, and workflows for digital course authoring and content presentation. 
 Oversee the use of course authoring tools and multimedia assets to ensure consistency, accessibility, and quality. 
 
 Learning Management System (LMS) Management 
 
 Serve as the primary administrator for AASLD&#8217;s LMS. 
 Maintain and optimize LMS functionality, configurations, and integrations to support current and future digital education needs. 
 Ensure accurate setup, maintenance, and delivery of all digital education activities within the LMS. 
 Develop and document LMS-related standard operating procedures and best practices. 
 Partner with internal stakeholders to support reporting, learner analytics, outcomes tracking, and data-informed decision-making. 
 Address learner and staff LMS support needs in collaboration with education operations staff. 
 
 Collaboration &#38; Cross-Functional Support 
 
 Collaborate with marketing, meetings, IT, and membership teams to support the promotion, delivery, and evaluation of live and digital education products. 
 Serve as the education lead on cross-departmental project teams executing live education activities such as Emerging Topic Conferences 
 Support the planning and execution of major AASLD education events, including The Liver Meeting&#xae; and Digestive Disease Week&#xae;, with emphasis on digital and hybrid components. 
 Work with external vendors, consultants, and platform partners as needed to support digital education initiatives. 
 Participate as a member of the education team in shared planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts. 
 Serve as staff liaison to the Online Learning Committee, providing administrative support to committee leaders and members, organizing committee meetings, and engaging committee members in the planning and execution of online learning activities
