The National Council States Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is an independent, not-for-profit organization through which nursing regulatory bodies act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting public health, safety and welfare, including the development of nursing licensure examinations. JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented administrative professional to join our Member Engagement team. The ideal candidate will bring value to the team by providing professional support to the Member Engagement department including managing day-to-day activities and projects.
Reporting to the Director, Member Engagement, the Coordinator will support assigned committees by coordinating meeting planning logistics and training, while providing professional and technical support to Member Engagement stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with meeting preparation and travel coordination to support the facilitation of the following Member Engagement programs: Executive Officer Summit, Midyear and Annual Executive Officer & Presidents’ Networking Sessions, and Executive Officer Orientation.
Develops and maintains the NCSBN committee webpage. Works with the Customer Experience department to maintain NCSBN committee email groups. Performs routine review of content on Member Engagement webpages and assigned Hive sites.
Monitors and responds to inquiries submitted via Member Engagement mailboxes (Resource Fund, Awards, Committee and Member Engagement). Triages and escalates issues as appropriate.
Supports assigned committees and the committee volunteer program. Schedules and coordinates committee meetings, prepares meeting materials and conducts meeting follow-up, as required.
Responsible for survey development and information retrieval (website, surveys etc.) to support the daily operations of Member Engagement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Ability to create, compile and export databases. Web development preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to cater communications to specific audiences.
Strong attention to detail; Some project management experience is preferred.
Experience working on fast-paced dynamic teams.
Positive and professional demeanor; ability to interact/communicate with executive level membership.
Limited travel required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $45,000 - $51,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on a candidate’s relevant experience, skills, training, certifications/licenses, qualifications and geographical location.
