About the Job
This role leads and grows the INM Residency Consortium (IRC), a national initiative supporting naturopathic doctor (ND) medical residencies across the country. As ND residency remains unfunded at either the federal or state level, the primary goals of the INM Residency are threefold: to provide meaningful access to residency to a majority of ND graduates through public/private funding partnerships, to standardize and improve the quality of naturopathic postgraduate education, and to demonstrate the value of this education to state and federal partners, with the eventual goal of securing governmental funding support. This is a two-year residency program that provides essential skills and the experience needed for residents to build a successful practice and practice to the full extent of their scope and potential.
You will have autonomy to build systems, catalog processes, and solve challenging problems in a fast-paced environment. As Program Manager, you will report directly to the INM Chief of Staff and other senior organizational leadership, supervise part-time administrative support personnel, and manage/collaborate with external-to-INM clinic site directors and their staff/resident doctors in the IRC. Success in this role requires persistence and excellent communication skills to reach and coordinate with doctors at our partner residency sites. Working long hours in their clinics, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience engaging with busy external stakeholders and completing engagements in a clear, timely, persistent, and effective manner. Success may require using multiple communication channels to reach and coordinate, and a high level of personal initiative. Additionally, this practical leadership role goes beyond just engaging stakeholders, including residency sites, partners, and community members, but also is responsible for planning and executing high-impact educational events and standardization projects.
Key Responsibilities
Leads program execution for the IRC and contributes to overall program strategy, driving accountability and execution across teams and partners to deliver results
Supports program development with donors, sponsors, and grant funding, while also strategically leveraging volunteers from across the organization.
Builds, envisions, and implements systems that support program growth and expandability.
Engages and inspires a broad community of stakeholders, residency sites, academic partners, and healthcare leaders through excellent communication and relationship management.
Plans, delegates, and executes dynamic events and initiatives from start to finish, delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
